Veneers Hide Your Flaws
Dental veneers are a long-range solution that will make your teeth appear to be in tip-top shape to anyone who might be looking, including yourself!
They are basically durable shells that get applied to the front of your existing teeth. Their role is to cover-up any imperfections and they work kind of like false fingernails.
Our standard veneers are made of porcelain to provide a more realistic, tooth-colored look for your smile. We will blend them in seamlessly. The good news is that applying veneers only requires two brief visits to our office.
Here’s how veneers work: First we take an impression of your mouth so that we can create a veneer that will fit perfectly over your teeth while looking and feeling perfectly natural.
After we have your custom veneer in hand, you will need to come in for your second part of the treatment. That’s when we will carefully remove a small section of the surface of your teeth and bond the veneer to your tooth to replace that section. Full disclosure: this part is not reversible, so we will want to be certain that veneers are the best treatment for you.
Our prepless veneers, on the other hand, are very thin and do not require the removal of enamel. These veneers can be temporary and are faster to place. However, they are not suited for hiding very prominent blemishes because they are so thin. We use three types of prepless veneers: Lumineers, daVinci, and DURAthin.
The nice thing is that, whichever way you go, you can care for your veneers much like your regular teeth. With proper brushing and cleaning, they should last you for many years to come.
Now that you know what they can do, what are you waiting for?
